A quick walk under the cliffs

About me

BIRDING: I have been a birdwatcher since the 1960's and been a birder since approx 1982. Twitched a lot in the eighties and nineties but these days concentrate on my local coast - especially Titchwell Marsh RSPB reserve. Sea watching, trips abroad and viz migging are my favourite pastimes. Not a found a 'rare' for six or seven years now....must put this right in 2013! Would love to see a Fea's petrel too!

FISHING: I have been fishing on and off for the last 45 years. I was really into fishing as a teenager and in my early twenties, that is until birding took over. Recently I find myself with more time on my hands and have become keen once more. For 2013 I have set myself a few targets, the first one of which I have already achieved (catching a pike)...but now I want to catch a 'twenty' Having almost never fished a river I also want to catch a chub, dace and barbel in 2013.
